I’ve been a pet parent for over a decade. Bruno, my golden retriever, wasn’t just a dog — he was family. 

 

Like many of us do, I’d leave him at boarding centers during vacations. Most of the time, he’d come back a little tired, a little sick, but we assumed it was the change in food, water, or routine. Until one trip changed everything. Bruno came back from a boarding stay with severe liver issues. We tried everything — vets, tests, treatments — but he passed away. The grief was overwhelming.

 

One evening, I shared this with a few friends, and what shocked me was how common this pet getting sick after boarding issue was — It wasn’t just me.

That night, I decided to start Furfins - a home boarding facility for your dear pets offering the same care and attention as you will give to them!

My space is not a kennel — but a home where quality of care matters more than quantity. Where updates are sent with love. Where only a few pets are taken in, so every single one feels safe, seen, and loved.
